Every ten years, after Census data is released, electoral districts must be redrawn so that each district is substantially equal in population.

Communities' ability to elect representatives of their choice depends on how and where districts are drawn.

Critical to this process is engaging the community in order to ensure that residents' interests and concerns are met.
